The Impact of Covid-19 On Small Business Outcomes and Expectations by (Bartik et al., 2020)

This paper provides insight into the economic impact of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) on small businesses, as well as sheds light on the financial fragility of many small businesses, and the impact COVID-19 had on businesses in the weeks after the COVID-19–related disruptions began. The results also provide evidence on businesses’ expectations about the longer-term impact of COVID-19, in addition to their perceptions of relief programs offered by the government (Bartik, Bertrand, Cullen, Glaeser, Luca, & Stanton, 2020).
