Dr. Karla M. Prince-Cheng, CEO
Dr. Karla Prince-Cheng is a native of Washington State, however, was raised in California. Dr. Prince-Cheng earned her Doctorate degree in Education with a focus on Organizational Change and Leadership, from the University of Southern California. She also earned her Master of Science degree in Education, with a focus on Technology Leadership, from California State University, East Bay, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice Administration, from San Jose State University.
Dr. Prince-Cheng has extensive experience in education and government, policy and procedure creation and implementation, training and collaborating with C-Suite level Executives, as well as training non-profit organizations in capacity building, community outreach, and building collaborative partnerships designed to offer services to under-served communities.
Dr. Prince-Cheng currently serves on the California State University, East Bay Alumni Association Board of Directors as the Outreach Chair and the California State University, East Bay African Ancestry Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA). In addition, she serves on the School Site Council as well as President of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for her son's school. Dr. Prince-Cheng has also served as a board member and fundraising chair for The Children's Preschool Center (CPSC), a non-profit daycare and preschool in Palo Alto, CA, board member for United Educators Association for Affordable Housing (UEAAH), which focused on teacher housing, and previously served for three years on the Neighborhood Accountability Board (NAB), a joint partnership with the City of Campbell and San Jose State University, which gave second chances to at-risk youth. She is a member of The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) as well as the Golden Key Honor Society.
Dr. Prince-Cheng is known for her compassion, hunger for knowledge, and integrity. She loves spending time with her family, reading, traveling, swimming, trying new food haunts, and relaxing.

Dr. Auleria S. Eakins, COO
Dr. Auleria Eakins, is a native of California. She earned her Doctorate degree in Education with a focus on Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. Dr. Eakins also earned her Master of Arts degree in Public Administration, as well as her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Care Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Dr. Eakins has extensive experience in community outreach and engagement, Regional Community Advisory Committees, as well as building collaborative partnerships designed to garner community insight into health disparities and health access issues for over 2.2 million Medicaid beneficiaries.
Dr. Eakins currently serves as a board member for Californian Black Health Network, a statewide policy organization, Phenom Girls Inc., an empowerment organization for young girls, and the Ohana Center of Antelope Valley, which supports children with special needs and at-risk families. She is also a member of Theta Upsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
Dr. Eakins has been noted as a “connector,” and continues to lend her talents, experience, and expertise to further advance diversity, equity and inclusion, public policy, and “Voice” for marginalized communities throughout Los Angeles County.
She loves spending time with her family, including the family dog, as well as relaxing and enjoying new food haunts.
